For the past few decades, I have devoted my life to learning what helps people heal, grow, and be well. I kinda had to, as my life depended on it. After years of struggling with my own harrowing addiction, complex trauma, and mental health issues, what began as a desperate search for my own healing eventually became my life's work: helping people create the conditions for individual and collective flourishing.
The more I traveled, taught university classes, and worked with people and families in crisis, the more I realized how many people were struggling and in pain. Much of that suffering seemed preventable—or at least far more manageable—with the right resources, support, and guidance. I’ve learned that many of us don't struggle because we lack intelligence or potential. We struggle because we've never been taught how to effectively manage our time, energy, emotions, responsibilities, and relationships. Nor have we been shown how to successfully navigate the demands of an increasingly complex, ever-changing world.
For these reasons and more, I have dedicated my life to creating learning experiences that spark meaningful individual and collective change. Leveraging hard-earned wisdom, academic research, and lessons learned from teachers, healers, clients, and cultures around the world, my coaching and consulting helps people build the essential structure, systems, and skills needed to flourish. Think of working with me as “project management for well-being,” achieved by strengthening executive function and lifeways management.
When not focused on Higher Minds clients, creative pursuits such as writing and speaking, or serving in my deeply rewarding role as Director of Program Development with Culinary Concepts AB, I spend my time practicing classical guitar, cultivating edible crops, going on family adventures, and learning to be the best dad and husband I can. To this day, becoming a father has changed my life in unimaginable ways nothing else ever could, and I feel so deeply grateful for the love, lessons, and joy that my baby boy brings to my daily life.

Eric Broich, MBA, CSC
Leadership Consulting, Management Consulting, Strengths Coaching
Eric’s coaching journey began in 2018 as a GALLUP certified strengths coach and consultant. After successful roles in healthcare technology sales and consulting, he was recruited by Gallup as part of their “taking back healthcare” initiative in the employee engagement and strengths coaching space. Prior to this, Eric pursued an MBA in Conflict Management to deepen his understanding of working and thriving with others, as well as to expand his ability to better help people navigate interpersonal dynamics. While finding success, Eric yearned to find a role he was passionate about. Working to solve organizational challenges was stimulating but he soon found that working with people to be much more fulfilling.
Eric came upon his true north when speaking to a team member of a manager that he was coaching during his time at Gallup. After asking how the last few weeks had been since coaching their manager, they paused and uttered: “I didn’t cry in my car during lunch today.” That was his revelatory point. He found by raising the state of an individual, he could raise the state of the whole. It was contagious and that was his “more.” Through coaching and shared experiences with others, he aims to create a space of rewarded vulnerability. In this space people can articulate and aspire to create their authentic, best version of self, both personally and professionally.
Continuing to coach and consult for individuals and organizations has been an extremely fulfilling endeavor for Eric; he has worked with a wide-range of clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to start-ups. He also is eager to use his expertise to help families identify and leverage their strengths to encourage positive interpersonal relationships and a healthier overall system. When not coaching or consulting, Eric pursues a healthy and balanced lifestyle, finding joy in exercise, yoga, and nature. He loves to travel the world and currently splits time between the United States and Lake Atitlan, Guatemala.-
